  • Covid 19 Safety policy

  • 10.12.21 CHANGES- Advisories in compliance with government guidelines

  • ​

  • All Participants must wear a Face coverings on entering, exiting, using the toilet, and if needing to move closer to people e.g when moving out of the designated space/their dance spot. Masks do not need to be worn during exercise.

  • Please only bring what you need for class. Baskets will now be provided to place belongings in.

  • Any attendee with Covid 19 symptoms must not attend and will not be allowed in the venue. (Continuous cough, loss of taste/smell, temperature)

  • All attendees advised to still keep space between each other in and outside area of venue.

  • Only class attendees will be allowed in the building to stop crowding in the corridor

  • Hand washing /sanitizing on entrance/exit and if using the toilet facilities.

  • We ask that you please bring your own personal hand sanitiser (60% alcohol to disinfect covid) Sanitiser will be provided by myself and the centre if this is not possible but we do advise you bring your own to again reduce the risk of touching same surfaces.

  • Continue to practice hand washing for at least 20 seconds.

  • Entrances and exits

  • Fitness Pilates -Entrance will be through the front and the exit through the fire door exit.

  • Dancefit- Entrance and exit will be through the front door, social distancing advised.

  • We ask participants to please leave promptly to allow for cleaning and the next group.

  • Exact start times and finishing times will be given and these must please be adhered to.

  • All screening/consent forms will be done electronically and can these please be sent back/completed before attending. (If you are like me a complete technophobe I will make this as easy as possible)

  • Classes must be booked in advance no turn up on the day spaces will be available. Booking will be secured on payment. Missed classes are non refundable.

  • All payments to be made before class via BACS no cash

  • transactions to reduce the risk of handling.

  • The disabled toilet will be open but we do advise to please use home facilities before and after class where possible. Hands please to be washed after using the toilet and the toilet will be cleaned down with the venue. Only one person will be allowed in the toilet at any one time.

  • The venue will be cleaned down before, after and if needed during session by myself. All touch areas to be cleaned- door handles etc.

  • Cough/sneeze into sleeve/elbow and wash/sanitise after.

  • Windows and doors opened on my arrival to allow for fresh air ventilation.

  • The music level will be lowered to reduce risk though shouting.

  • There will be no changing area; attendees must come ready for class.

  • Any garments/items left will be thrown away

  • Shoes to remain on so please wear correct footwear for the activity.

  • Fitness Pilates - Bare feet can be worn on mats but shoes put on if leaving the mat. Own Pilates mats to be used and advised to clean before and after.

  • Minimal use of corridor/waiting area only to use on entrance and to gain access to toilets.

  • The kitchen will be closed so no entrance will be allowed for water etc.

  • Attendees must bring their own water bottles and keep in their own space.

  • ​

  • Track and trace- All information will be obtained prior to attendance and added to a secure database. Registration will be done electronically by myself on entrance.

  • Teacher/myself- A marked line in front of the teaching space that participants and teacher should not pass. If teacher/myself needs to attend to an attendee visor/mask to be worn if 2 metres cannot be held. Gloves and PPE to be worn if first aid is to be administrated.

  • Participants advised to keep distance gain instructor attention if they have a question or need anything. Instructors to practice social distancing and have own sanitiser as well as keep washing hands.

  • All instructor demonstrations to be done from the front.

  • If an attendee shows covid symptoms during class the participant will be taken to the entrance door provided with hand sanitiser and will leave centre/hall if well enough to drive etc. or a member or their family contacted to pick up if unable to drive. They will be advised to follow NHS guidance on self-isolation. The attendee with symptoms should then have a test to see if they have COVID-19.

  • Where attendee tests negative, they can return to the setting when they have recovered. Where attendee tests positive, follow government advice on self-isolation. NHS Test and Trace will speak directly to those they have been in contact with to offer advice.

  • If a person or staff member out of class settings tests positive for COVID-19. NHS Test and Trace will speak directly to those they have been in contact with to offer advise. NHS test and trace will obtain contacts via Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness.

  • The centre/hall will be notified of positive tests for deep clean.

  • We advise staff and attendees to follow government guidelines outside of class settings.

Safeguarding Policy.


Hannah Mosley elite Fitness is committed to Safeguarding Adults in line with national legislation and relevant national and local guidelines.

We will safeguard adults by ensuring that our activities are delivered in a way which keeps all adults safe.
 

Activities will be instructed in a safe and comfortable environment and adapted to individual needs where appropriate.


Hannah Mosley elite Fitness is committed to creating a culture of zero-tolerance of harm to adults which necessitates: the recognition of adults who may be at risk and the circumstances which may increase risk; knowing how adult abuse, exploitation or neglect manifests itself; and being willing to report safeguarding concerns.

This extends to recognising and reporting harm experienced anywhere, including within our activities, within other organised community or voluntary activities, in the community, in the person’s own home and in any care setting.

Hannah Mosley elite Fitness is committed to best safeguarding practice and to uphold the rights of all adults to live a life free from harm from abuse, exploitation and neglect.

 

 

Policy Statement
 

Hannah Mosley elite Fitness believes everyone has the right to live free from abuse or neglect regardless of age, ability or disability, sex, race, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, marital or gender status.  

Hannah Mosley elite Fitness]is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and positive environment and an open, listening culture where people feel able to share concerns without fear of retribution.

Hannah Mosley elite Fitness acknowledges that safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility and is committed to prevent abuse and neglect through safeguarding the welfare of all adults involved.


Hannah Mosley elite Fitness recognises that health, well-being, ability, disability and need for care and support can affect a person’s resilience.  We recognise that some people experience barriers, for example, to communication in raising concerns or seeking help.   We recognise that these factors can vary at different points in people’s lives.

Hannah Mosley elite Fitness recognises that there is a legal framework within which sports need to work to safeguard adults who have needs for care and support and for protecting those who are unable to take action to protect themselves and will act in accordance with the relevant safeguarding adult legislation and with local statutory safeguarding procedures.

Actions taken by Hannah Mosley elite Fitness will be consistent with the principles of adult safeguarding ensuring that any action taken is prompt, proportionate and that it includes and respects the voice of the adult concerned.

 

 

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to demonstrate the commitment of Hannah Mosley elite Fitness to safeguarding adults and to ensure that everyone involved in Hannah Mosley elite Fitness is aware of:

  • The legislation, policy and procedures for safeguarding adults.

  • Their role and responsibility for safeguarding adults.

  • What to do or who to speak to if they have a concern relating to the welfare or wellbeing of an adult within the organisation

This safeguarding adult policy and associated procedures apply to all individuals involved in Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness including myself, Staff, Coaches, Volunteers and Members  and to all concerns about the safety of adults whilst taking part in our organisation, its activities and in the wider community.

We expect our partner organisations, including for example, affiliated clubs, suppliers and sponsors to adopt and demonstrate their commitment to the principles and practice as set out in this Safeguarding Adults Policy and associated procedures.

 

Commitments

In order to implement this policy Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness will ensure that:
 

  • Everyone involved with Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness is aware of the safeguarding adult procedures and knows what to do and who to contact if they have a concern relating to the welfare or wellbeing of an adult.
     

  • Any concern that an adult is not safe is taken seriously, responded to promptly, and
    followed up in line with Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness Safeguarding Adults Policy and Procedures.
     

  • The well-being of those at risk of harm will be put first and the adult actively supported to communicate their views and the outcomes they want to achieve. Those views and wishes will be respected and supported unless there are overriding reasons not to (see the Safeguarding Adults Procedures).

  • Any actions taken will respect the rights and dignity of all those involved and be proportionate to the risk of harm.
     

  • Confidential, detailed and accurate records of all safeguarding concerns are maintained and securely stored in line with our Data Protection Policy and Procedures Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness
     

  • Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness acts in accordance with best practice advice, for example, from UK Sport, Sport England, Sport Wales, Sport Scotland, Sport Northern Ireland, National Governing Bodies, NSPCC, Ann Craft Trust.

  • Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness will cooperate with the Police and the relevant Local Authorities in taking action to safeguard an adult.
     

  • All staff and instructors understand their role and responsibility for safeguarding adults and have completed and are up to date with safeguarding adult training and learning opportunities appropriate for their role.
     

  • Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness uses safe recruitment practices and continually assesses the suitability of volunteers and staff to prevent the employment/deployment of unsuitable individuals in this organisation and within the sporting community.
     

  • Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness shares information about anyone found to be a risk to adults with the appropriate bodies. For example: Disclosure and Barring Service, Services, Police, Local Authority/Social Services.
     

  • When planning activities and events Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness includes an assessment of, and risk to, the safety of all adults from abuse and neglect and designates a person who will be in attendance as a safeguarding lead for that event.
     

  • This policy and the Safeguarding Adults Procedures are reviewed no less than on a two yearly basis and whenever there are changes in relevant legislation and/or government guidance as required by the Local Safeguarding Board, UK Sport, Sport England/Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland and/or National Governing Bodies and or as a result of any other significant change or event.

Privacy Policy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness (Hannah Williams) respects the privacy of clients and only collect the necessary details, to include Name, Address, Contact data and Screening information.

Personal Data will be collected from screening clients via a form and only obtained on signed consent.

Information is collected to allow the best service to be provided for client safety. Contact may be used in case of emergency and for any cancellations and promotional updates. Clients are added to mailing lists upon consent for Updates/Cancellations and can unsubscribe at any point via link in emails or upon request.

“Hannah Mosley Elite Fitness” does not share personal data with third parties and all personal data is kept locked away securely and added to a secure database. Information is  only kept for as long as legally necessary, data will be destroyed in compliance with the GDPR.

Business contact must also be conducted via business Email, Telephone and Facebook page.

Clients/Participants can delete and access details at any time upon request.
